April began writing in elementary school, but it wasn’t until college that she figured out there was nothing else that she wanted to do. She received her M.F.A. from Antioch University and her B.S. in English from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Her works have appeared in The Boston Poetry Magazine, Belle Reve Literary Magazine and Fast Forward Fiction.
