ELJ Editions Magpies is a chapbook series seeking to showcase tightly themed, fresh, innovative, and exciting manuscripts of 12-20 poems or 12-20 pages of prose, 300 words or less each story, in elegant traditional side-stapled open-run editions. We are open to fee-free submissions from August 1st-August 15th annually.
ELJ Editions prefers narrative and free verse poetry that explores human emotions, experiences, dreams, revelations, etc. We also veer towards the surreal with powerful images and language. If you feel that your poems fit into any of these categories, please consider us.
All accepted authors will receive a standard contract and 10 copies of the chapbook with an option to purchase additional copies at a discount.
