The Fair Day

There’s something different about this county fair: a certain rush in the air each time you ride a ride, a certain sizzle in your blood. After a teenager nicknamed Electricity had her innocence stolen from her ten years ago at the county fair, she returns prepared to steal it back—not realizing all the forces at play, then and now, each chasing after innocence and power.

Praise for The Fair Day

A taut, page-turning tale of searching for revenge and finding oneself along the way. A damn good story from an electrifying new voice in fiction.

–Mat Johnson, author of Pym and Loving Day

Laura Biagi’s prose crackles and pops in this beguilingly strange story of electrified vengeance. The Fair Day heralds the arrival of an uncommon talent with an unfamiliar vision of the world.

–Teddy Wayne, author of Loner and Apartment
